About Our Organization
Mission
Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships.
Vision
Big Brothers Big Sisters' vision is successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them; contributing to brighter futures, better schools, and stronger communities for all.
It Works!
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the premier youth mentoring organization, with proven success in creating and nurturing friendships between adults and children. The involvement of a caring adult can often be the difference between a child entering adulthood as a productive member of society or not. Our matches are effective because professional staff ensure that the relationships are safe and rewarding for everyone involved. National research reveals that Littles are more likely to show positive behaviors in school and at home than children without a Big.
